Qigong for Health & Immunity

In these live Zoom sessions, held each Wednesday at 1 p.m., instructor Stan Cohen will teach Qigong for Health and Immunity. Forms covered will include Swimming Dragon Qigong, 6 Circles, 8 Brocades and other form movements and skill building. Classes will run approximately 45-60 minutes. All skill and experience levels are welcome, including beginners. Please register so we can email you the link to join. A recording of the session will be made so participants can continue practicing on their own. Those not able to make the class time but who would like the recording should also register. PLEASE NOTE: The link to attend will be emailed to you at least 24 hours in advance. So Ready for Laughter: Bob Hope and World War II

Movie star and comedian Bob Hope achieved a lot during his decades-long career. But his work during World War II entertaining and lifting the spirits of troops holds a special place in American history. Explore Hope’s contributions to the war effort on a private virtual presentation of New-York Historical Society’s upcoming exhibition (organized by the National World War II Museum in New Orleans). Dive into Hope’s early life and career and see how his legacy still reverberates more than 70 years later. This program is presented by the New York Historical Society and sponsored by the Friends of the Library. It will be conducted live over Zoom. Lunch 'n' Learn: Using Your Hands to Enhance Your Health with Jin Shin Jyutsu

During your time together, Debbie Burnet will share some simple ways that can help boost the immune system, reduce pain, stress, and anxiety, enhance healing, improve sleeping and overall well-being all at our fingertips. Come build a toolbox with ways to help yourself and others in mind, body, and spirit. Debbie Burnet has been studying and practicing Jin Shin Jyutsu for over twenty years.  She is a Jin Shin Jyutsu® Practitioner and Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self Help Instructor and a member of ABMP® (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals).  Debbie has a private practice in Bedminster and has taught Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help classes for private groups as well as for cancer patients at ATLANTIC HEALTH'S MORRISTOWN MEDICAL CENTER and SUMMIT MEDICAL GROUP.  She gets great joy out of sharing its simple self-help with others giving them tools that can help them help themselves where ever they are. Lunch 'n' Learn is sponsored by the Senior Resource Center.
